JAPAN’S GOODWILL Towards Australia [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received January 14, 7.40 p.m.) TOKIO, J'anuary 14. The Japanese Cabinet’s Information Bureau spokesman, Mr. Isiui, said he welcomed the recent Singapore broadcast of Mr. Spender Australian Cabinet Minister, in which he said he desired friendly relations with Japan. Mr. Ishii said: “We are sending Mr. Tastuo Kawai as Minister to Australia, and we are prepared to reciprocate Australian goodwill.”
