MR NASH DEPUTY LEADER Reserve Bank Governor s Term Up [Per Press Association! WELLINGTON, December 17. .The members of the Parliamentary Labour Party at the caucus to-day, unanimously re-appointed Hon. W Nash as Deputy Leader of the Party. Mr Leslie Lefeaux, Governor of the Reserve Bank, discussed with the Parliamentary Labour Party at its caucus, for more than two hours, questions of financial and economic interests to the Dominion to-day. At the conclusion of the caucus, Hon. W. Nash said that Mr Lefeaux also gave a statement about the present position of the Dominion as he saw it. He was asked, and answered, a number of questions, and at the conclusion he was accorded an enthusiastic vote of thanks by the caucus. This is the first intimation that Mr Lefeaux’s appointment, which according to statute.-was for seven years, and is expiring at the end of this month, is not to be renewed. Mr Nash was asked whether the Government had a successor in mind. Mr Nash said that was a question which the Government had yet to consider. ' : : ®
