Roumanian Position BUCHAREST, December 4. The editor of “Curentul,” writing from Rome, suggests that Germany is planning a new League of Nations, with headquarters in Vienna. He adds that Axis diplomacy is preparing a huge coalition of all European nations, involving the participation of their armies and the free use of territories and transportation. He warns the Roumanians to take seriously the promise of military aid to the Axis. BERLIN, December 4. Germany and Roumania have signed a ten-years agreement for the economic reconstruction of Roumania, which “applied to Berlin for support and co-operation.” Germany, under the pact, grants comprehensive long-term credits under special conditions, and undertakes to provide the equipment and experts necessary for developing Roumanian agriculture, in addition to the capital needed for draining and irrigation. Germany places technical and financial aid at Roumania's disposal for the development of industry. Roumania will develop and extend means of communication to natural markets, within the framework ot the new European order. Both Governments will ensure that Roumanian products are suld to German markets at fixed prices, independent of economic crises. BUDAPEST December 4. Count Teleki, in the Chamber of Deputies, protested against the recent speeches of General Antonescu and Horia Sima (Roumanian Nazi leader), about Roumania's claims to Transylvania. “Hungary cannot employ the same tone as Roumania, because she feels a warm friendship for the Axis Powers, who have made the new frontier.” LONDON, December 4. The Berlin News Agenlcy stated that a Bucharest decree nationalises the oil pipe-lines and installations. MURDERERS EXECUTED LONDON December 5. It is announced from Bucharest thht the murderers of the former Rumanian Prime Minister (Dr. Jorga) have been executed, and many prominent citizens have been arrested. The disarmament of the Roumanian Iron Guards may prove a difficult, task, because each Guard carries two revolvers, and many have machineguns. The Army possibly may be called on to perform the task.
