The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 26ft 3in. The Waipahi. arrived in the roadstead yesterday afternoon from Wellington, and will berth to-day to load coal for return.
The Kaimiro arrived early yesterday morning with cargo from Wellington, but unfavourable weather prevented her discharge. She will load for Miramar and Wellington. The Titoki arrived late last night from Picton, to load coal for Tarakohe. Sh e is to return on Tuesday to load for Castlecliff, and will return from Castlecliff to load for Nelson. The Kiwitea was expetced to leave Auckland yesterday, with cargo, and will load at Greymouth about Monday, for Portland and Auckland. The Holmlea, replacing the Port Waikato, is to leave Wanganui on Tuesday for Greymouth, and is due on Thursday to load timber for Onehunga and Waikato Heads. The Gael, en route from Tarakohe to Hbkitika, with cement, arrived in port late last night.
