GOERING’S CLAIMS
[Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] LONDON, September 8. Amusement was caused in England by a German radio report, which described how Reichmarshal Goering, surrounded by his staff stood on an observation tower on ' the French coast watching the battle over London through a stereoscopic telescope. Marshal Goering was described as the personification of calm, which was broken by an occasional, smile of satisfaction as he read the reports. The broadcast reached a climax when Marshal Goering himself came to the microphone, and announced that he had personally taken over th: direction of the attack. The broadcast concluded' with a band playing “And We March Against England”
