For British in Egypt I Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] CAIRO, September 8. Convoys of ships bringing men and war materials from England, Rhodesia, India, and Australia, have arrived in Egyptian waters. Large liners transported thousands of technicians infantrymen and hospital staffs. This convoy was met by other convoys, with R.A.E. personnel from Australia, and tea-planters from Ceylon. Trains laden with soldiers left for Cairo, Palestine, and elsewhere. No submarines or enemy planes were sighted throughout the voyage.
