SUNK IN NORTH SEA. (Received September 9 8.15 p.m.) LONDON, September 8. There were eight men missing after the sinking of the trawler “Salacon,” by a mine, in the North Sea. RESCUES FROM DESTROYER LONDON, September 8. It is authoritatively stated that British) warships .rescued all the members of the crew of the destroyer Hostile on August 26, except four. LONDON, September 7. Lieutenant Commander Bristowe. who dropped depth charges at the stern of the French battle-cruiser Richelieu on July 9, at Dakar, has been awarded the D.S.O.
