FRENCH GOVERNMENT
ARREST OF MANDEL, LONDON, September 8. The 1 arrest is reported at the instance of thp French Government of Mandel, former Minister. ZURICH, September 7. The closing of th.?. French-Swiss frontier has resulted from saboteurs blowing up a 300-foot railway viaduct. The explosion destroyed all houses within a radius of half a mile. It is estimated that three to four months will b-, required to restore the line, which is the only-avail-able railway link between France and Switzerland.
