WAR MINISTER
TOUR OF INSPECTION. (Received Aug. 19, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 18. The Minister of War (Mr Anthony Eden) spent the week-end in a comprehensive tour of inspection. On Friday he visited a number of units in south-western England. He inspected a contingent of the Royal Marines, various units of the Royal Artillery and the “Young Soldiers,” a home defence battalion consisting of youths between eighteen and twenty years of age.
