The weather report is as follows. General situation: An anti-cyclone still' remains stationary over the Dominion, the highest pressures being east of the South Island. Conditions are somewhat disturbed in the Western Tasman Sea. Forecast: Winds variable, with light to moderate north-easterlies predominating. Seas (New Zealand ’waters): Slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate north-east to north winds and slight to moderate seas. Weather continuing fair to fin e over most of the country; some local cloud, however, and further isolated showers in the Gisborne region. A frosty night, but a milder day temperature.
