TIMOR ISLAND
Portuguese Oil Project (Received August 4, 11.38 p.m.) LISBON, August 4. The Government of Portugal has given a monopoly to search for petrol in Timor Island, north of Australia, to the Companhia Ultramarina Petroleos, which company undertakes to raise one hundred thousand sterling of capital. The president and most of the members of the company will be Portuguese.
