Against Enemy RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AT STAKE. (Received August 4, 7.30 p.m.) JERUSALEM, August 3. Aly Khan is en route to Cairo to join the British press, h e having relinquished a commission in the colonial army. In a speech here, he gav~a warning to fellow Moslems against dangers in the present situation to the Moslem world. He said religious freedom received what, appeared a death-sentence in countries under totalitarian influence, whereas, such freedom existed untrammelled in all Mahommedan countries under British influence. “Some peopl e in eastern countries do not appreciate the freedom they enjoy under Britisn armed protection,” he said, “Without which they would become areasy prey for aggressive militarised powers who to-day seek to dominate mankind.”
Aly Khan expressed confidence hi the British war effort. He referred to Turkey’s exalted position under brilliant leadership.
