REMARKABLE RESPONSE WELLINGTON, August 2. A remarkable response has met the appeal launched by Air Force relations, a fevtf days ago, for knitting gloves for pilots and observers on active service. No fewer than 2200 were required, and, within a day or two. Air Force relations headquarters at Wellington found itself almost swamped with applications for the special wool to be used. The full supply required is assured.
