A woman went into a Napier drapery establishment and placed an order (says the Telegraph). When the order had been fixed the following list of instructions were given for the benefit of the boy who was to deliver th e goods:—“When the boy gers there tell him to open the gate, go inside, and look in the letter box. There he will find a bone, which he is to give to the dog. The dog will not then bite the boy, and he can deliver the parcel.”
