EVERYBODY'S FRIEND! KING’S SPEECH. (Received August 3. 12.2 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, August 2. King Gustav, of Sweden, in a speech at the opening of an extraordinary session of the Riksdag, said: “I am firmly determined to maintain friendly relations on al} sides. I wilt not relax my efforts to keep our 1 country from war, while preserving its liberty and independence.”
