Manoilescu, Prime Minister of Rcumania, declared: The Government is convinced that perfect rac-al homogeneity is unattainable. Roumanians cannot feel themselves master of their own homes without a ca egorical, decisive solution to the Jewish problem, to which we are determined to apply serious, well-consider-ed measures. We have obtained from Berlin and Rome the clearest possible picture of a system in which Ronmahia will organise her own- economy with her own capital, workers and technicians. The Axis Powers have no other indention than to becom? our best customers and most valuable suppliers Roumanians know how to bow before the demands of peace, but, when certain limits are overstepped they know how to take another road.
The Minister of the Interior announced that all Roumanian jews employed by the Government will he dismissed. Those employed in the capital are now being discharged. LONDON, July 1.
