TOO RAPID?
ROUND-UP OF ALIENS IN BRITAIN. LONDON, August 1. The “Daily Telegraph” says: The Home Office has discovered that a number of enemy aliens, who are earmarked for removal to the Dominions, have induced compatriots to take their places. Therefore, a complete census is being made of the inmates of all internment camps. It is stated that roundings-up of aliens have been carried out with such speed that there has not been complete identification in some cases.
