SURVALYON SCRATCHED.
AUCKLAND, March 20.
Survalyon was scratched at 9 a.m. to-day, for the Brighton Hurdles at Ellerslie on Saturday.
Racing Notes
Withdrawn: Cicada and Lady Govern have been withdrawn from the Champagne Stakes at Riccarton.
Correct Weight: , ( Trench Law’s weight in the finai payment for the Great Autumn Handicap appeared at 7.0. This should be 7.8, which includes an Sih. rehandicap for his successes at the recent Taranaki meeting.
In Hospital: Mr. R. Emerson, well known tor many years as a trainer at Riccarton, is at present a patient in the Christchurch Hospital.
Recommissioned: The brilliant steeplechaser, Cottingham, has once again been put into training by H. Nurse. During his spell since last August, Cottingham has put on a lot of condition, but is considered quite sound, and is expected to stand up to another preparation.
