Amritsar Recalled
NATIVES FIRED ON 32 KILLED. LAHORE, March 19. The police fired on members of the Khaksar (Army of Snades) a militant religious organisation, who d ’fled the ban against a parade. Thirty-two Khaksars and two policemen were killedi and 39 persons were injured. Those injured included the following British persons: The district mag- ! istrate, F. C. Bourne, senior superintendent of police, D. Gainsford. arid The deputy superintendent P. Beatty. Khaksar has been outlawed and curfew has been imposed.
