CANADIAN ELECTION. TORONTO, March 11. The Provincial Secretary, Mr Harry Nixon, has resigned, as a protest against Mr Hepburn’s attitude towards the war effort. Mr Nixon declared that he disagreed with the censure on January 18, also with Mr Hepburn’s subsequent attacks. HAGUE COURT. LONDON, March 11. Lord Halifax, in a letter to the League of Nations, renews British recognitions of The Hague Court for a further five years, except when the United Kingdom is involved in war.
