DUNEDIN PRICES. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, March 11. The total of 19,272 bales of wool offered at the third Dunedin appraisal last month wielded a gross return to growers of 1230,159 0s 4d, compared with £351,297 12s 5d which represented the return from the sale of 26,898 bales at the February auction last year. The average price a bale was ,£l7 R] Bd', a mean pries per lb of 12.52 d. The total gross proceeds from the thi'ee valuations so far held amount to £1,054,608 16s lid. By the end of February, 1939, woolgrowers had received only £657,831, being the returns from the December and February sales.
