Passing of Famous Half-back DUNEDIN, March 12. The death occurred to-day of Patrick Keogh, one of the greatest Rugby half-backs that New Zealand ever (produced. After playing junior grade for one season, Keogh' was promoted to the Kaikorai senior team. He played against Stoddart’s English team in 1888, and, although he had no Maori blood in him, he was a member of the Maori team that toured England the same year and /early in 1889.
