BRITISH MOTOR EXPORTS. J—LONDON, January 13. British motor factories exported 300 vehicles each working day in November. The exports to Australia. India, Burma, Portugal and Uruguay, in the last three months of the war, were all records. The exports to Uruguay increased by 536 per cent, to the Argent ne 172 per cent, and to Australia 31 per cent. The Society of Motor Manufacturers points out that these increases were made despite a serious reduction in the consumption of new vehicles in New Zealand and Scandinavia, but New Zealand’s decision to purchase only in the United Kingdom should be of great benefit in the near future.
