NOTES. The Harbour Board lasi evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water was 21ft. There were no shipping movements at Greymouth yesterday. No arrivals or departures are scheduled. STEAMER EXPRESS SERVICE. To cater for the heavy passenger traffic between Lyttelton and Wellington, the “Awatea” will leave Lyttelton for Wellington'on Sunday, 7th January, after the arrival of the 8.40 p.m. train from Christchurch. The usual steamer express fares will apply.
