At Wanganui To-day: Only nine horses from Trentham stables will be attending the Wanganui meeting this week, Dungarvan, Might, Kena, Gothic, Toper and Primak are engaged on both days, and three two-year-olds, Beau Coureur, Lady Govern, and Lady Benso, come in on the second day. The riding of the Trentham horses will be done as follows: —H. N. Wiggins. Kena; R. A. Hawkings, Toper; H. M. G. Challinder, Might; B. H. Morris, Dungarvan; P. Burgess, Primak, Beau Couveur (second day); and J. McCauley, Lady Benso (second day). W. Jenkins may ride Gothic at some pounds ' overweight. Lady Govern’s rider will be chosen at the meeting. S. Wilson’s only definite mount is the maiden, Hasten. The two-year-old Beechnut, struck himself last week when working, and as a leg has filled slightly, he will not make the trip.
