The accounts of K.D.V. Boxes, Ltd., for the year ended ’June’ 30, show a net prolit of £1,499 compared with £5,200 in the previous yeai' and £5,999 in ’ 1937. A dividend ‘of 3 per cent, is recommended against 21 per cent, in the previous year, which 'was the first payment since 1935. CANTERBURY PRODUCE. CHRISTCHURCH, September 5. (Final payment of 3d a bushel on all wheat at the end of year). Oats —A Gartons 2s 7d to 2s Bd, B Gartons 2s 4d. Algerians 3s to 3s 6d, Duns 3s 6d to 4s 6d. Ryegrass (good germination).—Perennial up to 5s 6d (nominal). Italian up to 4s to 4s 6d (nominal). Cocksfoot—6d to 7d (nominal). White Clover—ls to Is 3d per lb. Red Clover—Old season’s, 4d to 6d per lb.; new season’s, 7d. Potatoes—£ls a ton. Onions —£18 a ton. Chaff—£4 to £4 5s a ton. Barley—Malting 4s 7Jd, feed 3s to 3s 6d a bushel, according to quality. Reserve Bank Rate REDUCED TO 3 PER CENT. WELLINGTON, September 5. The Reserve Bank announce that the minimum rate at which it' is prepared to discount or rediscount bills will be reduced to 3 per cent, as from to-morrow, September 6.
