HAGEN RETIRING. (Received Aug. 30, 12.10 a.m.) CHICAGO August 29. Walter Hagen, the greatest moneymaker in the game of golf, has announced his retirement from tournaments. He won the British open title four times, in addition to more than 65 other major titles. He has earned more than one million dollars in 25 years in competitive golf.
