Master J. May has returned to Millerton after a extended holiday at Christchurch. Mr and Mrs L. Shannon returned to Millerton after spending a holiday at Christchurch. The Thistle seniors travelled to Waimangaroa on Sunday to play United in the William’s Cup semi-final. Thistle won by 7 goals to 3. There will be three games of soccer on the local domain on Sunday there being schoolboys, junior and senior. The local mine continues to work full time. , A children’s fancy dress ball was’ held in the school on Friday, a large number of the children being in fancy costume.
