Parata as follows: — Full-back: G. Harvey (Hawke’s Bay); three-quarters: H.' Steel (Otago), R. P. White (North Auckland), W. J. Phillips (Waikato); fiveeighths: N. Kotua (Nelson), Te Wi Repa (East Coast); half-back: J. H. Pile (Auckland); back row forward: T. Whitley (Bay of Plenty); middle row forwards: S. T. Reid (Hawke’s Bay), M. McDonald (Hawke’s Bay), D. Tuhoro (East Coast), P. Smith (Hawke’s Bay); front row forwards: E. Jackson (Hawke’s Bay), R. W. Winiata (Horowhenua), D. Mason (Marlborough); Emergencies— Back: T. Kawe (Otago); forward: A. West (Southland).
NORTH OTAGO NOMINATIONS. OAMARU, August 28. The following North Otago nominations have been forwarded to the New Zealand Rugby Union for the South Island team and trial matches: S. F. Easton, E. O. Strachan and D. H. Gillies.
