N.Z. PLAYERS AT BRISBANE (Received August 24, 10 p.m.) BRISBANE, August 24. At the croquet championships today, the New Zealanders’ performances were as follows:— Doubles championship: Mr R. W. McGrath and Mrs Palmer won 26/6; Mr J. Thompson and (partner won 26/10; Mrs Pickard and partner lost 10/26; Mesdames Nicholson and Bryant, won 26/18; Mesdames Clark and Henderson won 26/1; Mesdames Gambrill and Brown won 26/11; Mesdames Lowery and McCreath lost 21/26. A grade doubles handicap: Mr J. Thompson and Mrs Thompson won 21/13. Rose bowl: Mrs Pickard won 26/12.
