NEW CRUISER
Joins Australian" Navy (Received December 9, 10.30 p.m.) FREMANTLE, December 9. The latest addition to the Australian Navy, the cruiser “Hobart” arrived here quietly to-day from England. The Hobart is a sister ship to the cruiser “Sydney.” Her main armaments consist of eight six-indh guns, eight four-inch anti-aircraft guns, eight torpedo tubes, and one Seagull plane with catapult.
