NOTES. The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 26ft. The Hokitika arrived yesterday morning from Wellington with cargo and sailed in the afternoon- for Hokitika. , . The Waimea, sailed last evening for Tarakohe. She is due back on Thursday, to load coal for Dargaville. The Karu arrived Sunday morning, from Wellington, and loads timber for Petone and Miramar, after discharge. The Kartigi is loading for Wellington and should sail to-day. She returns next Monday to load for Wellington. The Omana is loading timber tor Melbourne and Adelaide, and sails tomorrow morning. , The Kaimiro completed loading on Saturday, but was unable to sail owing to a strong fresh in the river. She is still in port awaiting favourable conditions. She will probably sail today for Auckland and Portland. The Totara sailed from New Plymouth last night and is due this evening to load coal for Wellington. She returns to load timber for Miramar. The Titoki is due on Thursday from New Plymouth, to load coal for Tarakohe and Nelson. The Poolta i s due next Monday from Wellington to load for Napier and Gisborne, completing at Westport.
