POSTAGE RATES. WELLINGTON, December 5. No increase in the general postage rate ■ within the Dominion has been considered by the Government, said Mr Jones to-day, commenting on the reported intention to make an increase. Mr Johes indicated that the .inauguration of the trans-Tasman airmail service might have some bearing on the air-mail rate within the Dominion, but no readjustment in this respect would be consPdered until other questions concerning the service had been decided.
