FARR’S SUSPENSION. LONDON, October 20. Tommy Farr, the heavy-weight boxer, who is now in America, has been suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control until he pays £750 and £lO 10s unsuccessful appeal costs to Sydney Hulls, the promoter, for breach of contract. Farr failed to fulfil a contract he had signed to fight Schmeling in a 15-round contest at the White City in September last year. The decision that Farr should pay Hull’s 1 £750 was made by the Board on June 2. Shortly after Farr went to America, and.an appeal was lodged on his behalf. The appeal was dismissed. The Board also announce that they 'have suspended the boxer’s licence o Jack London, the West Hartlepool heavyweight, and the promoter s licence of George Dingley, of Glasgow, who promoted the Lynch-Junch lig i in Glasgow on June 29. MAY NOT RETURN. ■ ■ NEW YORK, October 19. When informed of the British Board’s decision, Farr said to-day: £ would not pay the money on principle It may be that I shall never want to go back to England, and with the Board disliking me as they do, it is immaterial to me if I never fight, in ' England again."—Reuter,
