' [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 4. The weather report is as follows:— General situation: A? deep secondary depression has been crossing the Dominion during last night, and this morning, a low pressure centre being now located off the east coast of the North Island. An anti-cyclone is advancing across the Tasman Seai Forecast: Winds south-easterly to southerly south of New Plymouth and Napier, and elsewhere west to southwest, the force being moderate to strong generally, and rising to a gale in places. Seas (N.Z. waters): Moderate south of Farewell Spit and north of East Cape; elsewhere rather rough to rough. Eastern Tasman Sea: Southerly [winds of gale force at first in the northern portion, but decreasing; elsewhere moderate to strong. Seas rough, but slowly moderating. The weather is becoming fine on the west coast of the South Island; elsewhere cloudy to overcast, with further rain. Some heavy falls are probbable, especially about Cook Strait. Conditions are improving to-morrow, more especially in the Western and southern districts. '
