Ample provision for iftotbr vehicles has been provided this year for the busy New Year and Christtnas period the Wainui and Waipahi, which will make trips between Lyttelton and Wellington from December 17 to January 9. The booking on the inter-island steamers has been so heavy that no space at all has beeh Ifeft for the trips north between December 16 and December 26. It has been decided; therefore, to make available further accommodation on the two cargo vessels. The Wainui \Vill leave Lyttelton on Saturday, December 17, Tuesday, December 20, and Thursday, December 22, and the Waipahi on Wednesday, January 4, Friday, January 6, and Monday, January 9.
