The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday wa s 24ft 7ins. Thb Waimea is due to-day from New Plymouth, to load coal for Dargaville. . m , The Kartigi left Napier on Tuesday afternoon for Greymouth and is to load here to-day for Weflington. The Karu is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Greymouth, with cargo, and will load here to-morrow afternoon for Petone and Miramar. The Titoki is now due on Saturday, from Nelson, to load coal for ’Tarakolie* The Hokitika is expected to leave Wellington on Saturday with cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika, being due here on Monday. . The Huanui sailed yesterday morning, with coal for Foxton. The James Cook sailed yesterday for Westport, to load coal for Noumea. , . , The Kaimiro is loading for Auckland and Portland, and should complete loading for despatch to-morrow. The Omana is loading timber for Melbourne and Adelaide.
