Mr. E. W. Spencer, returned to Reefton last is a guest at Dawson’s Hotel. Mrs. J. B. McMyn, Crompton Road, who sustained a fractured ankle last week, is not showing the improvement anticipated, and her condition is very low. At the weekly meeting of the Inangahua Rugby League Centre last evening, it was decided to forward congratulations to Messrs P. Scott, G. Orman and N. Orsbourn on their selection in the South Island team which is to play in Auckland on Saturday. The Secretary’s action in instructing the Inangahua delegate to support the motion to have replacements in the Inter Island match was approved of, as was also the recommendations forwarded to the New Zealand League as the result of a conference held in Christchurch last week end. The Manager’s report on the visit to Christchurch of the representative team was received as satisfactory. 1-. was decided that Mr. R. Chandler be elected as a member of the Centre.
