BRITISH CABINET CHANGES LONDON, May 17. Sir E. Page, referring to Mr M. MacDonald’s transfer to be Secretary for the Colonies (instead of for the Dominions), said: “We are all sorry to have lost Malcolm, who had such a splendid understanding of the nrchlems, and was popular with all. Wc greatly anticipated his participation in the forthcoming negotiations. Lord; Stanley is immensely popular with all Dominionites, and I am sure we will receive sympathetic understand-' ing from him.” I LONDON, Mav 17. I Sir J. Simon announced in the Commons that Mr Chamberlain’s indisposition will prevent his presence in the Commons on May 19. therefore the air defence debate will be postponed.
