Marquess of Bute’s Estate
100,000 ACRES IN WALES.

Probably the largest British property deal on record is announced. This is the sale by the Marquess of Bute of nearly the whole of his Mountjoy Estate of one hundred thousand acres in South Wales, including half of the city of Cardiff. The price is stated to be five millions.
The name of the purchaser is not disclosed, but it is believed to be a Company which is being formed to develop the property.
