WAITAHU NOTES
[Our Own Correspondent.] The biennial election of the Waitahu School Committee will be held on Monday evening May 2nd at 7.30 p.m. Patrons are reminded that, the next euchre tournament will be held at the clubhouse at 8.15 p.m. on Monday next.
Mr Bleakley, Herd Testing Officer, has been on his monthly round and reports that the herds are producing equally as good ap in March, owing no doubt to the spring like weath/r experienced during the greater part of April. Mr E. Patterson, who has been on holiday to Blenheim and Wellington, returned on Sunday accompanied by his mother and Mrs Mitchel. Mr S. H. Roberts, who has been indisposed for the past week, is gradually regaining his usual robust health. Mr Overton. Inspector, Nelson Educafii<Jn Board),, .attend'pd the school on Wednesday.
