100,000 TAXPAYERS Find 12 Millions [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.l (Received April 29, 8.50 p.m.) LONDON, April 29. During the budget debate, Sir J. Simon (Chancellor of the Exchequer) admitted that the budget had not been enthusiastically received. He argued that he could not be accused of being tender with the rich, considering that twelve millions had come under the budget from one hundred thousand surtax payers. The formal budget ' resolutions were passed without a division.
