Roberts, W. H. Woodcock, W. H. Hapeley. Wareatea South Riding—* D. J. Archer, G. E. McPadden. Millerton Riding—* W. H. Mclntyre. Lyell Riding—* V. M. Dellavedova. Councillors R. J. Mr William Fisher was omitted , from the list published of Grey County nominations for the Grey Electric Power Board. WESTLAND COUNTY. 1 In the Westland County, there is to be only one election, that for the Southern Riding, which two of the four sitting members are not contesting, Messrs J. J. McKay and N. Brown. Mr T. R. Chestermap is not renewing his candidature for the Central Riding. Following are the Council nominations: — Southern Riding (4 seats)—James Donovan, P. J. McLean, Ernest A. Kirby, George Rowley, William Searle junr., William Searle, senr. The poll will be held on May 11. Northern Riding (2) —J. A. Murdoch and Bernard Ward (elected). Central Riding (3)—Alfred Dale. W, A. That keen interest is taken in the Murchison County Council elections is indicated by the fact that there are six candidates in the North Riding for three seats, and five candidates in the South Riding for three seats. The nominations are as follows: — North Riding (three seats)— * Theodore O. Morel, * Frank H. Newman, Joseph Baigent, Kenneth Rouse, Joseph James Robinson, Ronald Win. ( South Riding (three win Malcolm Brown, * John Rait, * John Downie, * Henry W. Brooks, Ebenezer G. Gibson. Mr Rait is a sitting member for the North Riding. Nelson Hospital Board (one seat) — .* Newton McConochie. * Denotes sitting member.

Kumara Borough mayor and council UNOPPOSED. The only nomination for the Mayoralty of Kumara, Mr A. B. Spiers, the present Mayor, has been re-elected. Only two of the present councillors sought re-election and nine nominations were received for the nine seats, the following having been declared elected! — D. A. McLean, W. Lawrence, R. J. Little A. E. Langham, * Mrs C. Passmore, F. W. Wise, J. J. Pamment, S. Harris and * J. Murphy.

* Indicates sitting member. For the position of Medical Representative of the Combined Boroughs of Kumara and Ross on the Westland Hospital Board, Messrs A. E. Langham and G. E. Chapman have been nominated, so an election will be necessary in this case. The sitting mem-
