WEDDING

BOOT—SEEBECK. The wedding was solemnised on April 19, at All Saints’ Church, of May, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Seebeck, Weld Street, Hokitika, and Len only son of Mr and Mrs J. Boot, St. Albans, Christchurch. The bride escorted by her father wore a dainty ankle-length frock of pale blue lace, made in redingcote style, pleated tulle halo to match. She carried a bouquet of cream roses, freesias, and maiden-hair fern. Miss Jessie Green of Waiho the bridesmaid, wore a becoming fitting pink lace 'frock, relieved at the neck with small velvet flowers and draped at the waist with n. velvet sash. Her head-dress was a close-fitting pleated tulle cap, trimmed with tiny velvet flowers. Mr Bart Andrews, of Hokitika was best man.

Mr and Mrs Boot left later by cu? for Christchurch, the bride wearing a smart navy tweed suit, with navy accessories to tone. Mr and Mrs Boot’ future home will be at Rotorua.
