REEFTON J.C. Meeting Concludes To-day SILVER RING IS FANCIED. The Reefton Jockey Club’s Autumn Meeting will conclude to-day at the Reefton racecourse, when good fields will again parade. The principal event the Lewis Pass Handicap, has drawn a smart field of six acceptors and it should provide a most interesting contest. Silver Ring is topweight with 10.6, but anywhere near his former self he would walk away with the prize. He should provide a great race with Mungatoon, Monipere, Roy Bun, Rabble and Hunting Bag. In addition to the stake there will be a valuable trophy donated by Westland Breweries, Ltd. The single pool system of betting will operate. For the convenience of patrons, arrangements have been made to broadcast the Inter-Domin-ion Trotting Championship events, on the course. Candidates likely to be in favour are Rabble, The Masquerader, Kay Francis, Silver Ring, Potent, Great Memory, Jambo, and Windward. The fields and prospects are:—
