HON. R. SEMPLE
VISIT TO WEST COAST. The Mayor of Greymouth, Mr W. Meldrum, last evening received the following telegram from the Minister of Public Works, Hon. R. Semple: — “I wish to advise that m.v postponed visit to the West Coast will shortly take place, and I expect to arrive in Greymouth on Thursday. 24th Inst., at 11 a.m., leaving at 1.50 p.m. for Hokitika. Visit essentially one of inspection of public works, and I do not anticipate having time to transact, public business.”
