MURDER ANQ SUICIDE

In the view of witnesses in the rooms in adjoining buildings, a woman was X ordered by her husband, who afterwards committed suicide. The victim was Maude Foley, 47, and her husband was Frederick Augustus Foley, 57 caretaker of the Bourke SUvet branch ot the State Savings Bank.
Mrs Foley’s screams attracted the attention of occupants of other rooms, who saw, through the open window, Foley attacking his wife with a razor.
Their daughter rushed to hdr mother’s assistance, and found the Foleys struggling for possession of the razor. Mrs Fo’ey was terribly injured, and collapsed and died. The daughter seized the razor, and threw it downstairs. The daughter’s husband struggled with Foley, who. breaking away, got the razor, cut his throat, and died.
