ENGINE DERAILED

TWO EXPRESSES HELD UP. [Per Press Association], NEW PLYMOUTH, February 14. The derailment of the front wheels of the locomotive of a goods train at Fitzroy, a suburb, this evening, caused a delay to the outward express for over an hour, and of the inward express from Wellington for over an hour and a half. No damage was done. The derailment occurred an hour before the Auckland express was timed to leave, and while the locomotive was being jacked back on to the rails, the Wellington express was held at Lepperton, the passengers being brought to New Plymouth i buses.
