The Fleet Trainer aeroplane recently imported to Wellington from Canada for demonstration .to aero clubs has been bought by the Marlborough Aero Club. The purchase of this' machine will overcome a difficulty under which the club has been operating recently owing to a'shortage of training machines. It is the aeroplane of the kind purchased in New Zealand, but it is considered a first class training machine, and is used extensively in Canada, particularly for training pilots in the Royal Canadian Ah’ Force. It is designed essentially as a trainer, and is equipped’for blind flying. The engine is a five-cylinder .radial, and the machine is • of metal ' construction throughout.
