WOOL-BUYERS' CONCESSION.

BRITISH OBJECTION TO ABOLITION. (Received February 10, 7 p.m.) LONDON, eFbruary 10. A meeting of wool importers and members of 'the British Wool Federation, held at Bradford, passed a resolution emphatically protesting against the New Zealand, Australian and South African proposals to abolish the draft allowances on wool. It was agreed to support the Wool Federation in any action which it considers necessary to protect its members’ interests in this matter. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. (Received February 10, 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10. At to-day’s wool sales, there were 11,799 bales offered, of which 10,663 were sold at auction, while 477 bales .were privately sold. The competition was strong, with Continental support predominating. Greasy merino made to 22id.
